WGHS CULTURAL AWARDS EVENING

 

We had our first ever Cultural Awards Evening where Cultural Activities and endeavours are going to be recognised along the same lines as Sport and Academics.  This is a great move in recognising those students who are talented not in academic and sport but in the arts and environment and music and other cultural activities.   We nominated Mishka Karodia for the Spence Hinck trophy again and Prina Dayal and Buyile Mdlangathi were awarded dedication and service certificates  for what they do inthe Eco Club.  We have also nominated Mishka Karodia for her full colours after she won a best speaker Award at the SAIIA Environmental Sustainability Project Provincial Finals.  these policies are still being developed and we await their development with bated breath!
