We collect paper for our Mondi Bin and this project is an Interact Project but it is not driven very aggressively.

We perhaps need to suggest that someone from the Eco Club will run withthis project and see if we can make a difference.

I think that it will also help if we get our Recycling Station built and off the ground.

 

This graph reflects the number of times the bin is emptied by Mondi and the cash collected from each bin collection.

 

Our total cash received was R1847.40

 

Review and Reflections of Results

 

Term 1   R866.10

We can see that we begin the year fabulously and then by march when there are tests and exams we have literally tailed off to a minmal contribution.

This is our best term by far!

 

Term 2  R318.00

We again begin more positively that we ended in Term 1  and May was a great month but then in the exam month of June we don't register enough papers to warrant a collection.

 

Term 3  R663.40

We start off a little slowly and then gain momentum as the term draws to a close. This was our second best term.

 

We can defintiely see the impact that exams has onthe paper collection but we can also see the with a bit more incentives and competition, the students could contribute a lot more to this collection and raise a lot more money.
