Presidents' Award & Hike

 

The students of Westville Girls' High School are most priveledged in being allowed to take part in the Presidents' Award. This is a course that requires specific measures to be taken by each learner that wants to achieve.

 

The presidents' award consists of different levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level is more difficult to achieve than the next. Participating students are required to achieve a certain amount of commuinty srevice, learn a new skill,participate in a sport at school for a certain amount of the year and to take part in the presidents' award hike ranging from 5km to 20km.

 

Many students do partake in this course and most have achieved excellent results. Students receive badges and certificates.
